Island

Chapter 7

“Ready?” Tay asked, looking back at Ike.
“Operation ‘humiliate Zac’ is now underway” Ike smiled. Tay and Ike lept out from the woods and ran towards Zac. Zac looked up and all anyone could see was sheer terror written across his face.
“Baby brother!” Tay yelled and scooped Zac up in his arms.
“We thought you were lost forever!” Ike yelled and put his arm around terrified Zac too.
“We love you! Never wonder off like that again.” Taylor said, squeezing the air out of his younger sibling.
“help…me…” Zac said in a muffled voice.
“This is for saying I’m conceded.” Taylor whispered and squeezed harder.
“And this is for saying I’m uptight.” He squeezed once more.
“And for saying I’m pig headed.” Squeezed again.
“And how could I forget stuck up!” he said and squeezed so hard, Zac was practically blue from lack of air.
“Uh…what’s going on here?” Phyllis asked, standing up.
“Oh nothing…I just missed my little brother that’s…” Taylor said until he looked up. He dropped Zac all of a sudden and stared at Phyllis. Zac was on the ground, gasping for air. Amanda quickly walked over to him to see if he was all right.
“What?” She asked, looking around.
“You’re the girl on the plane.” He said with a far away voice.
“No, I live on this island.” She said sarcastically.
“I mean, I saw you in the first class cabin.” He said.
“I didn’t see you. I didn’t even know you existed ZAC!” She said a little loudly and looked down at Zac. Zac just smiled.
“Hee, I meant to…uh…” Zac stuttered.
“Tell us that you WERE on the plane with your family.” Amanda said with her hands on her hips.
“It was a harmless little thing to get back at Tay.” Zac said, getting up.
“Yeah, and he got me involved even though I didn’t do anything to him.” Ike butted in.
“Sorry Ike.” Zac looked up at his brother.
“So this is why you were trying to squeeze the life out of him?” Phyllis asked.
“He deserved it.” Tay smiled.
“Uh huh. Well, if you don’t mind, I really don’t want to be anywhere near violence so if you’re going to kill him, go to the other end of the island.” Phyllis said.
“No problem.” Taylor smiled.
