[HANSON STORIES]

Island

Chapter 1

“Why are you being such a jerk today?!” Taylor yelled at Zac while he plopped down in his seat.
“I’m being a jerk?! Well isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black!” Zac retorted.
“Would you two shut up and put your seatbelts on!” Ike yelled.
“I’m not sitting next to him!” Zac yelled, staring coldly in Taylor’s eyes.
“Well I don’t want to be anywhere near you either!” Taylor yelled and got up. He grabbed the in flight magazine from Zac’s seat and headed for the back of the first class section.
“I wanted to read that!” Zac yelled, turning around in his seat.
“Tough!” Taylor yelled back and put his headphones on and started reading the magazine.
“Stop your bickering! You two sound like little old ladies!” Ike yelled as he sat down in the seat Taylor was originally sitting in.
“Oh shut up Ike!” Zac said and folded his arms angrily and leaned against the window.
“Excuuuuse me!” Ike said and stuck out his tongue. The stewardess came down the isle with a cart.
“Would you gentlemen like anything to drink or eat?” She cheerfully smiled.
“No thank you.” Zac said, not turning from the window.
“How about you?” She asked, going down the isle and stopping near Taylor’s seat.
“What?!” Taylor said a little loudly.
“Take off your stupid headphones Tay!” Zac yelled. Taylor gave an evil look at the back of Zac’s seat, (not like it was going to do much damage.) Taylor pulled down his headphones and looked at the women.
“No thanks.” He said and resumed reading his magazine. Zac turned to Ike and said something that Taylor couldn’t make out.
“If it’s about me, SHUT UP!” Taylor yelled and kicked the back of the seat.
“You always think everything is about you!” Zac yelled and looked over the top of the seat and stared down at Taylor.
“Zac would you sit down!” Ike yelled, pulling him by the arm.
“Just wait till we get to New York!” Zac said under his breath.
“And what am I waiting for oh mighty one?” Taylor said in an obnoxious tone.
“I’m gonna…I’m gonna…” Zac started.
“Your gonna what pee wee?” Taylor said, getting in his face.
“Zac, Tay, quit it!” Ike yelled.
“Oh butt out of it Ike!” Zac said, looking down at his older brother.
“This is your captain speaking. The seatbelts sign has been put on so please fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off. I hope you have a nice flight." The pilot’s voice broke in. Zac sat back down and fastened his seatbelt. Taylor leaned back in his seat and put his headphones back on.
“I wonder what Zac’s problem is? Every time I go to say something to him, he jumps on my back. I can’t wait to get to the hotel so I can get some R&R.” Taylor thought to himself.
“I hope that this whole trip doesn’t consist of those two acting like idiots. There might be a double homicide if I can’t get some rest.” Ike thought as he looked past Zac, out the window. Zac still had a scowl on his face. Not very pleasant. He needs a major attitude adjustment Ike added to his thoughts. The in flight movie started.
“Oh great, just what I wanted to see, a chick flick.” Zac said out loud.
“It can’t be that bad.” Ike said, turning to face him.
“Think again. This flight sucks!” Zac said.
“Well if you keep…” Ike started, waving his finger in the air. Zac rolled his eyes and turned away.
“I’m not listening! I’m going to take a nap, don’t wake me unless we get their or some amazing girl wants my autograph.” Zac said, closing his eyes.
Ike just laughed and started watching the movie again.

A couple hours later, the Hanson boys all had fallen asleep. The stewardess had come and gone and the hours had flown by. Taylor slowly opened his right eye, then his left. He looked around and saw that the plane was still in the air. He was hoping that they would’ve been at least closer the ground by then but it wasn’t so. He kicked the back of the seat to get Zac’s attention.
“Dude!” He yelled. No answer.
“Dude!” He said a little louder.
“What do you want?!” Zac said angrily.
“How much longer?” Taylor asked.
“How am I supposed to know?” Zac said sharply.
“Now will you leave me alone!”
“Oh…bite me!” Taylor hissed and leaned back in his seat. He looked out the window and saw that the clouds that were once white were now black and he could barely tell whether it was day or night.
