REFUSING TO STOP

I've stopped
'Coz you've got her
I've paused
'Coz she's with you
I've halted
'Coz I am too late
I've quitted
'Coz inferiority fills me

I wish you'd see me
I wish I'd know you
I just hope I'm not tardy
I just hope I can be stronger
I just wish I'd refused to stop

I can refuse
I can't stop
I can refuse
I can't stop
'Coz I love you

I promise you
To seal my mouth
I pledge myself
To hide the truth
'Coz happiness and morality
Are needing to be accomplished

I will dream
I won't tell
I will feel
But I won't tell
I won't wonder
But I will show
My blessings
'Coz I love you

'Coz I love you
I'm following my heart
At least I'm real
But I won't tell
I won't tell
I won't tell
'Coz I love you

UNTITLED

The lies they've told,
The false ideas
Of what they really are.
Cover up the truth that's there
Why can't they just see?

They're scared to look
They're scared to love
They're scared to run away
From the false ideas and stories
No one really made.

To melt away the lies
To shine the only light
On what is real and what is true
Is all I ask of you.

Please don't turn your head
They're beautiful, cant you see?
Just listen to the music
Lose the world and be free.

For just tonight leave behind
What is thought and what is said
Follow the music, lead your heart
Let it fill your head.

DOUBTS AND UNCERTAINTIES

Doubts and uncertainties that circle my head
Lead to the tears I've cried,
And all the blood I've bled.

And in the day that passes me by
I catch my breath and wonder why
I don't know what to wonder.

I don't know what to say,
I don't know what to think.
Is my life supposed to be this way?

Is this what you're feeling,
Is this even real? Or is it my imagination playin tricks on me?
Doubts and uncertainties.

The world keeps spinning, whirling around
Time is always moving, I am always going
But where? A place for me

I'll end up there someday
There's no stopping it
But what if that someday, is today?
Will you be there?

Can I trust fate to make me happy?
Being alone is hard.
Will she put us together,
Or rip us apart?

Doubts and uncertainties that circle my head
Make me cry late night,
Alone in my bed.

WE WALK ON

They tried to shatter our dreams
They tried to shake our ground.
They tried to give us fear
But none was to be found.

They wounded our country
And tore our souls
Created widows, orphans,
But what they didn't know

Is that we stumbled,
but we didn't fall
Instead we stand united
Strong, proud and tall.

On every car that passes by,
Snapping in the wind a flag
And on every billboard;God Bless America;
Replaces an Ad.

So sicken us with your disease,
Shoot us with your guns,
You thought that you could win?
Here we go, we will walk on.

UNTITLED

I used to wait for your call,
It didn't come,
I felt so small
Lame excuses, mind abusive,
Little games you played with me

I knew how it was,
You spun a web-
Beautiful silk, tight and sticky
The fool I was, I walked right in
I didn't fight, I let you win.

You played your games,
Danced round my head,
Trapped by my lonely love
I bled

Oblivious to everything
But you and me.
I thought I was happy-
Candy coated doubt.
I knew you'd made it
And I knew you'd break it
So fearfully I waited.

And then you left,
My world crashed down
Sorrow reined,
Emptiness found.

The memories
Of you and me
Silently tumble in my head
It's all so clear
They all make sense
Now I see
What you really did

Scarred and numb,
Dry and used,
I will always be
Thanks to you

But hopeless and weak,
Confused and meek,
Broken and torn,
I am no more

A tiny light
Shining through
A burden lifted-
My burden was you

So now I'm free,
For once I'm me,
Not your girlfriend,
Not your date,
Not your ex,
Not your slave.

So many, many things
I didn't know before
Happiness I have found
Once more

My world's so bright,
My world seems new,
I guess that's cause my world's
Not you.

UNTITLED

That twinkle in your eye
And I know you love me

A laugh so bright and cheerful
And I know my feelings are true

Your blond silky hair is full of snow
And your eyes are blue, a shade of ice

Your hand is warm as I hold it in mine
And I smile as you place a kiss on my cheek

We walk towards the big old church
As we are singing "Holy night"

It's just the two of us as we walk into the house of God
It's all silent, and it's all bright
As we sit down and close our eyes

I can still feel your hand in mine
I can feel every breath you take

We both open our eyes, and look at each other
And know that this is christmas time
And we are together again

REMEMBER THE DAY

i remember the day
when you came into my life
i remember the day
when you started dropping hints
i remember the day
when you made me yours
and i made you mine
i remember the day
when we stayed up all night
'holding' each other tight
i remember the day
when you asked me to be yours forever
i remember the day
when we vowed to love each other
til death do us part
i remember the day
when you lied to me
i remember the day
when you broke my heart
i remember the day
when you shattered my life apart
i remember the day
when she took you, my love, away
i remember the day
when i thought that all was lost
i remember the feeling that i felt
the feeling that you get
when love dies
when love lies
i remember the day
when i knew that you'd never be mine again
i remember the day
when i thought you were gone for good
but most of all
i remember the day
when you came back into my life
i remember the day
when you put me on an emotional rollercoaster ride
i remember the day
when i felt like i was being pushed into the past
i remember the day
when all the old feelings came rushing to the surface
i remember the day
when you almost made me cry
i remember the day
when i wished that you would just go away.

BUTTERFLY

Sitting alone in my room
I think to myself
"I wonder what it would be like to see you sleeping"
I smile casually and let myself drift away
As I drift further into my thoughts
I feel myself flying
Like a beautiful butterfly
Where I'm going is unknown
When I finally land, I'm in an unknown place
Somewhere I've never been to before
I close my eyes, and as I re-open them
I see myself looking into a window
And there you are, sound asleep
I put my hand against the window
Wishing I were next to you
I close my eyes again and as I re-open them
I'm in your room, standing in front of you
You look like an angel
You look so peaceful
So at ease, with no worries at all
I sit down beside you, and watch you sleep
I wish I could read into your thoughts
And see into your dreams
Reaching my hand over to you
I move a strand of hair away from your face
You're truly one beautiful boy, my dear
I feel lightheaded, and realize
That it's time for me to leave your side
As the tears start to fall
I feel myself flying back
Opening my eyes, I'm back to where it all started
In my room, alone
With nothing but my thoughts
Wiping away my tears
I look towards my window
And that is when I see you standing there, smiling at me
My beautiful butterfly

UNTITLED

I have never met you face to face,
Your true personality, I can not place,
All I know is editors choice,
And the sincerity that comes from your voice,
Though all the above sounds insecure,
If you ever need someone I'll be here,
In your heart you probley always knew,
As the song says "I will come to you".
